Question by Jessica: Can I wash my cats with white vinegar?
I have recently found some evidence of fleas on my bed and couch from my cats and am pretty sure that my one cat has a tapeworm. I plot on getting the Tradewinds brand tapeworm medication tomorrow at Petsmart and flea powder. I am going to vacuum with flea powder, wash all sheets, blankets and towels. Why does my cat’s stool get caught in her fur?

By Kitchen Stools On August 26, 2010 1 Comment

Question by < ('_')>: Why does my cat’s stool get caught in her fur?
I have a medium-long haired cat and her stool gets caught in her fur. To make matters worse, her fur is white. She won’t or can’t clean it off, so I end up having to bathe her in this area once every other week. I notice that it doesn’t happen every time she uses the litter box, only in this area once a week or so. Is there some type of food we can give her or certain food to stay away from? She absolutely despises getting baths and I have the scratches to prove it. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be fantastic!
She gets it on her fur all around the anus.
