Please help…questions on potty training boys!?
Question by Momto2inFL: Please help…questions on potty training boys!?
My son is 22 months ancient and has shown fantastic interest in potty training. Over the past month or so, we’ve been building a point to celebrate when he pees in the tub or in the shower so that he can be more aware of it all. He’s now at the point of tearing off his diaper and trying to pee which goes to show us that he’s ready to start potty training. My husband and I have let him walk around without a diaper because we want him to feel that urge if possible and pay concentration. I know he’s young, I’m not expecting miracles here and of course I expect many accidents.
This weekend alone, we made MANY trips to the huge potty with a stepstool and my son climbed up, lifted the lid, and stood there. He never

Question by Momto2inFL: Mommies of boys – potty training?
I’m sorry to keep asking but I’m sooo lost when it comes to potty training boys. We’re a family of ALL girls, all my cousins are girls, and I have nobody out of my friends that has children or if they do, they don’t have boys.
My husband and I are currently potty training our son. He’s 22 months ancient and has shown huge cryptogram of being “ready” to check out the huge potty. He’s completely skipped the small potty altogether and just doesn’t seem interested in it. He does like the huge potty and has no problem sitting on it.
Right now, my son will poop in his diaper and take it off immediately. He’ll bring

Question by Momto2inFL: Potty training and daycare – how does that work?
I know daycares will help help with potty training when the child is ready, but I’m unusual how well a child will do at daycare versus at home. The way I see it, there are tons of distractions at daycare. They’re playing, doing tale time, arts and crafts: Will a child speak up and say “potty”?
I may be celebrating a small early but I don’t care. LOL. My 2 yr ancient has been peeing on the potty (standing up) before bathtime for the past few months. Small pees but he’s doing it. And every now and again he’ll wake up with a dry diaper (overnight) and typically he’s soaked. So

Question by Momto2inFL: Should we push the potty training?
My son is 2 yrs ancient (in Nov) and we’ve been slowly trying to get him to show interest in potty training. He went through a phase of going number 2 on the huge potty with NO problems when he was in this area 18 months ancient. But it stopped and because he was positively young, we didn’t stress in this area it. It was really stressing HIM out when we tried to question in this area it, so we stopped.
Now we’ve tried to bring out the smaller potty that we have and he could care less. It’s more like a stepstool to him. And he sees his Daddy go pee on the huge potty so we’ve just
